Renee Zellweger & Bradley Cooper's awkward red carpet run-In

Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper had an uncomfortable run-in at the annual Constume Institute gala Monday night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York Post reports.

Sources say the former couple who split in March after two years of dating came within feet of each other at the star-packed gala.

“They stared for a quick second, surprised and straight in the face and turned away,” said an onlooker.

“It was an awkward moment, and they split in separate directions.”

Previous reports claimed Renee and Bradley split because the actor always put his career first.

“If I had to pick any possible mistress it would be Brad’s career,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.

“He worked really hard to get into leading man status.

“Renee had to take a backseat. She traveled with him to make it work.

“She’s accomplished a lot of her professional goal. So Renee took some time out to be a great girlfriend and see if this is what it took to make a relationship work.

“But she stopped fighting. It was just not working out.”
