Matthew Morrison would be a decent talent judge

Matthew Morrison thinks he would be a “decent” TV talent show judge.

The 32-year-old singer-and-actor best known for playing Will Schuester in musical TV drama Glee insists he has no interest in being a panelist on a program like The X Factor or America’s Got Talent, because he would rather focus on his own career.

“I’m not a judge. It’s something I’ve never even though about or aspired to be,” he said.

“Not that there’s anything wrong with it and I’m sure I would probably be a decent judge, but I want to perform.

“I’d feel weird judging people too, because in this business I get judged a lot, so I wouldn’t want to be on the other side. Who am I to judge?”

While Matthew has no interest in appearing on such a program, he thinks the decision to make British singer a judge on the new US X Factor alongside Simon Cowell,Paula Abdul and L.A. Reid was the right one.

“I don’t know too much about her, but she was a judge in the UK. And she’s a singer so she knows what she’s talking about. So I think she’ll be wonderful,” he added.
