Kate Middleton won’t have a lady-in-waiting on her first official tour.

The busty brunette and her new husband Prince William will visit California and Canada this summer  on their first official tour as a couple.

In keeping with the pair’s “no frills” approach, the 29-year-old Duchess of Cambridge will reportedly “test the water” by making her first overseas tour without a lady-in-waiting.

“Kate is very low maintenance. She did her own wedding-day make-up and is confident doing her make-up for the cameras,” a source said.

“She said she doesn’t want a lady-in-waiting. That may change, but she’ll see how she copes on this tour.”
