Julia Roberts & Tom Hanks cover W-magazine

Cover girl: The June issue hits newsstands on May 24
Hollywood beauty and legendary actress Julia Roberts career has spanned three decades, but Roberts barely seems to have aged a day since she was launched to super-stardom for her role in the 1989 hit Steel Magnolias.
The mother-of-three, who has always insisted she has never gone under the knife, recently showed off her natural beauty and incredibly long limbs as she posed for a new editorial spread for W Magazine.
The actress took part in the cover shoot and adjoining interview alongside Tom Hanks, who directs and co-star in her new film, Larry Crowne.
The pair had previously starred together in the Oscar winning movie Charlie Wilson's war.
During the candid interview Julia admitted that she has tried to find roles that challenge her as an actress and roles that she can identify with.
'I think it’s called growing up. Light and funny has a more compelling quality when you’re younger,' she said.
'But I haven’t abandoned the genre: I love falling down; I love Lucille Ball. It’s just that a lot of those stories revolve around problems that I can’t convincingly portray at this age.'
He co-star Hanks echoed her sentiment saying he was looking for professional growth in regards to the characters he was portraying.
Stunning: The actress posed in a revealing black corset for the shoot
'I told my agents that I wasn’t going to play p*****s anymore,' Hanks told the magazine.
'I was tired of playing, ‘Oh, boo-hoo–I was in love, but oh, boo-hoo-hoo.’ There comes an age when you can’t do that any more. I wanted to play men instead of boys. In your mid-30s, it’s time to start playing guys of compromise. And as you get older, men of bitter compromise.'
But Tom wants people to get more out of the film than just a good viewing experience.
'The movie is about combating cynicism. People are naturally optimistic, but you have to choose to walk away from cynicism,' he explains.
'You have to say, I am going to combat cynicism today. I had this idea about a unique guy who loses his job and then, at the end of the movie, realizes that it was the best thing that ever happened to him. He thought he was going to die, but it turned out great!'
