Eva Mendes wants to tread the boards!
The Last Night star is desperate for a break from movies and is looking to perform in London’s historic West End.
“I am actively, actively pursuing a play at a theater in London,” says Eva.
“It has not happened yet but I’m hoping it will. To do something in theater there would be a dream
come true.”
come true.”Eva who has been dating Peruvian filmmaker George Augusto for almost a decade recently called marriage an “unnecessary” tradition.
“I just don’t think marriage is necessary, as necessary as society makes it,” she said.
“And I don’t have a negative point of view on it. I just think it’s a very old tradition and if you look back to what marriage symbolizes in the first place … it has nothing to do with why we get married today.”
