Britney Spears too mental to marry?

Britney Spears can’t marry longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick because she’s “mentally incapable”.

The singer who is still under the rigid conservatorship, enacted after a psychiatric meltdown in 2008 placing Britney’s dad Jamie Spears in control of all her assets, finances, and decisions is keen to settle down with her man, but can’t.

“For a legal marriage to take place in California, a person must have the ability to make legally binding decisions,“ California attorney David E, Wohl told the National Enquirer.

“Just signing the marriage license requires this. Because Britney is under a conservatorship for all intents and purposes she cannot get married. The conservatorship would have to be set aside before she can legally tie the knot.”

Spears recently revealed she’d wed Trawick who she’s been with for two years when “the timing is right.”

Britney recently said that Madonna helped her through some of her more difficult times in life.

The pair collaborated on the track Me Against The Music and famously kissed onstage at the MTV awards eight years ago and Spears claims Madonna helped her by teaching her to listen to her instincts.

“I guess she’s really taught me to stay true to myself,” Britney said.

“That seems like a simple thing to say, but she taught me through action, not just by saying it.

“There are so many people around you that have opinions, but you just have to listen to your instincts.”
