Britney Spears glows on Harper's Bazaar magazine

It has been a difficult few years for the princess of pop.
But Britney Spears appears to be back on top of her career and looking better than ever as prepares to head out on tour with her new album, Femme Fatale. 

The 29-year-old singer looks stunning in a backless white dress as she poses on next month's cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine. 

In the revealing Harper's Bazaar interview to accompany the shoot the down to earth star claims she is no different from anyone her age and she has the same likes and dislikes.

'I'm pretty normal, you know? Like I said, the type of day I love is just like everybody else's. I'm like everybody else,' she says in the issue.

The singer, who is due to film the music video for her third single in coming weeks, discussed her favourite music video.

'Overprotected. I just think it says a lot. It was directed so well, it was really colourful and the dancing was amazing,' she told the magazine of the 2001 song.'

The singer has been busy preparing to go out on tour with her new album Femme Fatale.

'I love to dance, so it’s very exciting. The tour rehearsals have been going really well. I think it will be my best show yet.'

Britney also thinks that so far the response to her seventh studio album has been good.

'I've worked so hard on this album, so it's really refreshing.'

Despite the renewed success in her career, which has seen her sell over 135 million albums and singles world-wide, Britney still has a more important priority in her life - her two sons, Sean Preston, 5, and Jayden James, 4.

She says having children has certainly changed her approach to her career.

'I think things through a little bit more, and I worry a lot. I’m more straightforward, and I speak up more than I did before.' 

'When I was younger, I wouldn’t speak up as much, but now that I’m a mom, things have changed.'  

The superstar also compared herself to another young performer - Justin Bieber.

'I think he's adorable,' Spears gushed of the 17-year-old singer. 

'I just saw his movie, and I really didn't realize how big he was. He's enormous; he's just Mr. Man. A lot of the movie is really similar to what I did when i was starting out. I did a promo tour for a year, going into radio stations and all that. It was so cool to see our similarities.'
