Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife hreatbroken

Arnold Schwarzenegger's estranged wife Maria Shriver has made her first statement since news broke that her husband had a secret love child.
Earlier today, the former Governor of California revealed that he had fathered a child around ten years ago with a member of his household staff, and confirmed that this revelation is what had caused the couple's recent separation.
"This is a painful and heartbreaking time," Shriver said in a statement. 
"As a mother, my concern is for the children," she explained. "I ask for compassion, respect, and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal."
Shriver added: "I will have no further comment."
Last week Shriver and Schwarzenegger released a joint statement confirming that they had separated to try to work on their marriage, and revealed that they are now living in separate houses.
The couple married in 1986 and have four children together, 21-year-old Katherine, 19-year-old Christina, 17-year-old Patrick, and 13-year-old Christoper.
