Will Ferrell wasn't allowed heineken

Will Ferrell has revealed why his alcoholic character in new movie Everything Must Go has such an unusual taste in beer.

The Anchorman star says Pabst Blue Ribbon was the only brand happy to have their product featured in the movie.

“Someone told me that someone had written a blog where a guy had seen the movie and was like, ‘It makes no sense. He should be drinking Heineken. He is more of a Heineken guy’,” says Will. “My response to that is, we would have loved to have drunk Heineken but they wouldn’t let us!”
