Sheryl Crow hiding new romance from kids

Sheryl Crow is keeping mum about her love life.

The singer who’s dating musician Doyle Bramhall II says she won’t tell her two young sons about her new romance because she doesn’t want the kids be heartbroken if they split.

“I’ve been in the situation where I’ve been involved with people and their kids, and if the relationship doesn’t work out, it’s heartbreak,” she said. “So I’m keeping the relationship friend-based when we’re around the kids.

“Luckily, we have a great foundation, having known each other for 15 years.”

Crow was previously engaged to marry champion cyclist Lance Armstrong, but the couple split in 2006 after three years together.
