Taylor Swift will probably have to  give her linguistic “talents” a rest on future world tours!

The Love Story singer has told how she likes to try and speak in the local lingo when playing to non-English speaking audiences but she hasn’t always covered herself in glory.

“I try to say a few phrases everywhere I go but in Asia I really messed it up,” says Taylor, 21.”I think they appreciated it but I’m not sure I would do that again. I’ve learned my lesson.”

Meanwhile, Swift who has previously dated the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner says she likes to be “surprised by love”.

“There are no rules when it comes to love. I just try to let love surprise me because you never know who you’re going to fall in love with,” she said.

“You never know who’s going to come into your life and for me, when I picture the person I want to end up with, I don’t think about what their career is, or what they look like. I picture the feeling I get when I’m with them.”

Bette Middler cast in Phil Spector film

Bette Middler is set to star alongside Al Pacino in HBO Films’ Phil Spector telefilm.

The diva will play Linda Kenney Baden, a defense attorney who represented the producer during his first trial for murder.

Also joining the cast of the telefilm written and directed by Academy Award nominee David Mamet (Wag the Dog) is Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development), who will play Bruce Cutler, a attorney on Spector’s defense team.

Midler’s last TV series gig was for CBS in 2000-01 with Bette, a sitcom in which she played herself. Sixteen of the series’ 18 episodes aired.

Midler picked up a nomination for her 1993 telepic, Gypsy, which also aired on CBS.

Zsa Zsa Gabor emerges from coma

Zsa Zsa Gabor has awakened from a coma. 
The 94-year-old actress initially became unresponsive last week following treatment for a "major infection in her stomach" and had previously shown no signs of improvement. 
However, Gabor's husband Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt has since confirmed that while she is still using a feeding tube and taking pain medication, her infection has gone down and she could be allowed to leave the hospital within the next few days. 
"She's the only thing I have. If she dies I don't have anybody else to live for," he told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "She does not want to be left alone. I sleep in a couch with my feet dangling but that's okay, we made promises that we would take care of each other until the end. I know she would do the same for me."
Prinz Von Anhalt also told the website that his wife has been attempting to speak but so far has only been able to say "yes, no, hurts me [and] darling". 
Gabor was hospitalised earlier this month after experiencing symptoms of pneumonia. The illness was the most recent in a string of health problems she has experienced over the past year. 
Prinz Von Anhalt recently insisted that he would never shut down Gabor's life support and is unwilling to let her die.

Oscar De La Hoya check into rehab

Oscar De La Hoya is currently seeking help for substance abuse at a California rehab facility.

The sportsman has taken to Twitter to revealed his thoughtful and introspective side.

“Stop finding excuses not to live,” he tweeted. “Life is controlled by what you make of it and not of what it makes of you.”

De La Hoya reportedly entered the facility several weeks ago to battle his demons and it appears that his new world outlook is sticking.

“Take a deep breath and let out all that anger that makes you hate,” he continued to tweet. “It really is going to be o.k.”

De La Hoya boasts an impressive record, having earned several boxing championship belts as well as a 1992 Olympic gold medal. But even with a gold medal hanging around his neck, the legend admits that he has his downfalls.

“After doing an honest evaluation of myself, I recognize that there are certain issues that I need to work on,” he said. “Like everyone, I have my flaws, and I do not want to be one of those people that is afraid to admit and address those flaws.”

Bob Dylan musician takes drugs shock

Bob Dylan was a heroin addict.

The rocker made the revelation in a previously unheard interview with his music critic pal Robert Shelton.

Dylan who turns 70 tomorrow says he was a junkie in his early twenties, in tapes recorded in 1966.

“I kicked a heroin habit in New York City,” Dylan said.

“I got very, very strung out for a while. I mean really, very strung out. And I kicked the habit.

“I had about a $25-a-day habit and I kicked it.

“Death to me is nothing. Death to me means nothing as long as I can die fast.

“Many times I’ve known I could have been able to die fast, and I could have easily gone over and done it. I’ll admit to having this suicidal thing, but I came through this time.

“I’m not the kind of cat that’s going to cut off an ear if I can’t do something. I’m the kind of cat that would just commit suicide.
“I’d shoot myself in the brain if things got bad. I’d jump from a window.”

Kirstie Alley is putting her health in danger with her dancing diet.

The Dancing With the Stars contestant is desperate to get her weight down to 130 so she can slip into a size 4 dress, so has been starving herself and exercising to the point of exhaustion.

“Kirstie is burning the candle at both ends and came close to blacking out during rehearsals,” an insider told the National Enquirer.

“She frequently eats one small meal before going in for seven hour dance practices and she’s getting by on as little as four hours of sleep a night.”

Sports medicine expert Dr.Gabe Mirkin estimates that Kirstie, who says she averages a 1,400-a-day calorie intake, is burning up to 2,800 calories a day by intensive dancing and risks serious health problems with a starvation diet.

“If Kirstie continues,she may suffer from electrolyte deficiency,particularly sodium depletion,which can lead to heart arrhythmia and sudden death,” he added.

“The fact that she’s falling demonstrates that she’s doing serious damage to her body.”

According to New York Post gossip column Page Six, the actress’ talks for a record deal with Atlantic Records have crumbled.

“Atlantic bosses were very interested, and [Atlantic owner] Warner chief Lyor Cohen was very supportive,” a source said.

“But then the talks halted and the deal fizzled out. There was a rumor that Paltrow wanted $1 million to sign, but that is a ridiculous figure. Atlantic is still interested in signing her.”

Benedict Cumberbatch is to reteam with his Sherlock costar Martin Freeman after landing a role in upcoming Lord Of The Rings prequel The Hobbit.

Freeman, who will star as Bilbo Baggins in the two-part fantasy film, accidentally revealed the casting news backstage at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts TV Awards on Sunday.

Previous reports claimed  Cumberbatch will voice the dragon character Smaug but the actor refused to specify his role, insisting, “I can’t say at the moment, thank you very much.”

Kate Gosselin owes marriage counselor $10000

Kate Gosselin has been told to pay more than $10,000 to a marriage counselor!

The reality TV star must fork over the sum to a local therapist in a dispute over counseling.

Although Kate’s marriage to ex-hubby Jon imploded in front of the world, Sylvia Lafair contended in court that she flew to Los Angeles in March 2009  to counsel her and Jon while the pair starred in Bravo series Jon & Kate Plus 8.

Lafair had sued in 2010 after Kate didn’t pay for the services or travel.

Kate took the stand last week testifying she never had a contract with Lafair, who runs Creative Energy Options in White Haven, Pa which is 50 miles away from Kate’s home.

Magisterial District Judge Gerald Feissner ruled May 13 that Gosselin must now pay Lafair’s company about $10,300 for services rendered.

Kate’s attorney said he has filed an appeal to contest the ruling.

“I went to a very mean school and was bullied like crazy. I was a bit of a goth with purple hair and I was also part of the drama group, which was filled with actors and writers and wasn’t really accepted by the rest of the school.

“There was a long corridor with lockers on either side and kids would sit on top of them and spit on you. It was like something out of ‘Lord of the Flies’, but if I learned anything it was to remain true to myself and not to conform for the sake of it.”

Lindsay Lohan blasts Glee

The troubled actress has taken a swipe at hit TV show Glee over jokes made on the show at her expense. Lindsay says she  refuses to watch let alone consider a guest appearance on the show because of how writers have used her as figure of fun.

The former Disney idol plays an expectant teen in new movie Raven but the experience has hardly made her hurry along her family planning with her husband, ice hockey star Mike Comrie.

“It was funny,” says Hilary. ” I had this lumpy, old pillow for a belly so I was just squishing it around a lot and trying to get it to look more like a round bump, instead of some lumpy thing. I can’t say it made me long to be pregnant for real.

“We’ve only been married a year. Mike plays hockey, so he’s away from September to April, and we don’t really get that much time together, so we’re looking to wait.”

Duff, 23, was recently asked when she plans to have kids.

“We talk about it. Yes, we’re excited to do that, but I want to work a little bit more,” she replied.

“I’m tossing around the idea of making another record and obviously that wouldn’t be very good timing.

“We want it, we’re excited for it, but I think it can wait just a little while longer.

“Mike’s supportive of me, he knows that I’m still young and if I want to work more, he’s totally supportive of that.”

Prince William & Kate Middleton back from honeymoon

Prince William and Kate Middleton are back off their honeymoon.

The couple who tied the knot on April 29 have returned home to the U.K. after their 10-day honeymoon to an Indian Ocean paradise.

The couple are said to have had a “memorable” vacation in the Seychelles and “thoroughly enjoyed their time together, and they are grateful to the Seychelles government for their assistance in making the honeymoon such a memorable and special 10 days,” a palace statement reads.

The British royals left the luxurious seclusion of the islands on Friday.

“They left happy and clearly content with their stay,” the head of the Seychelles tourism board, Alain St Ange, told the Associated Press.

And foreign minister Jean-Paul Adam told the AP they “are truly honored that Prince William and his wife chose to return to Seychelles for this special holiday and we are proud to have been able to offer them a peaceful and private getaway.”

Officials will not say when William, 28, is due back at work at his base at RAF Valley in Anglesey, but it is thought he will be back in the skies as a helicopter search and rescue pilot in the coming week.

Madonna make daughter work for mobile phone

Madonna doesn’t give her daughter everything on a plate.

The superstar singer who is worth hundreds of millions of dollars is making Lourdes, 13, do odd jobs to pay for her new mobile phone.

“Madonna will make her run errands or tidy her room,” a source told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper.

“She always tries to teach her about the value of money and how important it is to earn things as it makes you appreciate them more.”

Ginnifer Goodwin & Joey Kern split

Ginnifer Goodwin is back on the market.

The actress has reportedly ended her engagement with Super Troopers actor Joey Kern.

The former Big Love star, 32, and Kern, 34, “broke up a few weeks ago,” a source told People magazine, adding that the pair intend to remain friends.

The actors were engaged last December after they were set up by a mutual friend.

Goodwin has previously revealed that she’d like to settle down and start a family.

“When I moved into my house, I thought the closet was laughable and now I’ve filled it,” she said. “When I have kids, that room as to become a bedroom.

“I want three or five children, but I need a bigger house or a smaller closet. I’m 32, so I’m already thinking about that. If it happened right now, I would absolutely have a baby.

“The only issue I have with ageing is nothing to do with my career, it’s that I want to have a lot of kids before I’m physically unable to do so.”
